Mitani Group of Japan visits and works with HueCIT

On the morning of September 25th, a delegation from Mitani Sangyo Group (Japan) visited and worked with the Thua Thien Hue Information Technology Center (HueCIT). During the visit, they personally delivered an invitation to HueCIT's leadership to attend the 30th-anniversary celebration of Mitani Sangyo Group's business operations in Vietnam.

The working delegation from Mitani Sangyo Group (Japan) visited and worked with the Thua Thien Hue Center for Information Technology (HueCIT). Leading the delegation was Mr. Miura Shuhei, a member of the Mitani Sangyo Board of Directors, responsible for investment promotion activities in Vietnam, and Chairman of Aureole Construction Software Development Company, a subsidiary of Mitani Sangyo based in Thua Thien Hue. Joining him were Mr. Tran Thanh Dan, Deputy General Director of Aureole, Mrs. Phan Thi Mai Anh, Head of the Human Resources Department at Aureole (also serving as an interpreter), and Mrs. Le Ngoc Thien Trang, HR Specialist at Aureole.

On the side of HueCIT, the delegation was welcomed by Mr. Le Vinh Chien, Director of the center, along with department heads from Digital Transformation, Consulting, Design and Production, Training and Development, and Planning and General Affairs. The meeting was not only an opportunity for both parties to exchange information and establish cooperative relations but also reflected Mitani Sangyo Group's commitment to developing information technology in Thua Thien Hue province.

Overview of the meeting and working session

Mitani is a conglomerate operating in six business sectors, including energy, chemicals, information systems, electronic plastics, air conditioning installation, and housing equipment. The group has been in business since 1928 in Japan. In 1994, Mitani began expanding its business, focusing specifically on Vietnam. Currently, Mitani has 20 subsidiary companies in Japan and 7 subsidiaries in Vietnam, employing over 2,400 Vietnamese workers. These operations extend across various provinces in Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue, Dong Nai, Vinh Long, and Hai Duong.

In Hue, the Aureole Construction Software Development Company (a subsidiary of Mitani Sangyo) is headquartered at the 5th and 8th floors of VietinBank – 02 Le Quy Don Street, Hue City, with 200 employees out of the company’s total of 700 staff members.

In the open and welcoming atmosphere of the meeting, Mr. Miura Shuhei introduced Mitani Group, Aureole Company, and their upcoming development directions. On the other hand, Mr. Le Vinh Chien, Director of HueCIT, also presented information about HueCIT, its strategic products, and opportunities for cooperation, aiming to collaborate with enterprises in areas within the Center’s scope and advantages.

Highly appreciating the digital transformation achievements of Thua Thien Hue province in general, and HueCIT in particular, in recent years, the representative of Mitani Group expressed their commitment to long-term development in Vietnam, including Thua Thien Hue. They stated that this meeting marked the beginning of exploring more about HueCIT, and they hoped to expand partnerships in the future, including with local universities and HueCIT, to develop high-quality human resources training in IT and IT application fields.

On this occasion, the leadership of Mitani Sangyo Group extended an invitation to HueCIT's leadership to attend the 30th-anniversary celebration of Mitani Sangyo’s business operations in Vietnam (1994–2024), which is scheduled to take place on November 13, 2024, in Hanoi. Mr. Le Vinh Chien, Director of HueCIT, gladly accepted the invitation.
