These participants include university students majoring in arts and communication, as well as officers and specialists in information technology (IT) from the Department of Information and Communication, the Department of Tourism, the Information Technology Center of Thua Thien Hue province, and some individuals working in related digitalization fields.

The Culture Technology training course through photogrammetry and 360 VR is aimed at digitizing cultural elements, preservation, management, and content creation. In the context of exploding information and the surprising advancements in image and video technology, 360-degree video is predicted to be an essential factor in enhancing promotional advantages and competitiveness.
This is a free course conducted through the collaboration between PostMedia Company and the Information Technology Center of Thua Thien Hue province. PostMedia is an IT company based in Seoul, South Korea, operating in the New Media field since 1993. For these collaborative courses with HueCIT, PoSTMEDIA has designed the program, arranged instructors, specialized equipment, while the Information Technology Center of Thua Thien Hue province handles enrollment, classroom organization, computers, and implements class organization.
Specifically, the course "Training in Culture Technology through photogrammetry techniques" is organized with a total course time of 24.5 hours (Theory: 7.25 hours; Practical, discussion: 17.25 hours) with 20 students. In addition to studying theory, students observe visually the equipment, preparation work, and practical digitization operations through the photogrammetry technique demonstrated by experts. They also participate in hands-on practice and teamwork to create specific products. The course runs from April 19th to April 21st, 2024.
The course "Training in Culture Technology through 360 VR techniques" will be conducted from May 24th to May 26th, 2024, focusing on assisting learners in understanding and grasping the process of producing VR content, capturing and editing 360 panoramic photos, and then proceeding to produce VR 360 content using local cultural heritage.
Through the course, experts from PoSTMEDIA as well as HueCIT aim to support and guide learners in understanding the principles and techniques of 360 VR/Photogrammetry and train human resources capable of contributing to the field of Culture Technology in Thua Thien Hue in the future.
