Busan Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA) Works with HueCIT

During a business trip in Hanoi from November 21-22, on the afternoon of November 23, the delegation from the Busan Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA) visited Hue City and worked with the Thua Thien Hue Information Technology Center (HueCIT) to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment promotion in Information Technology (IT) in Hue.

Attending the meeting from BIPA were Mr. Byeon Seong-il - Head of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency and Mr. Jeong Sangmin - Assistant Director. From YST LLC (the connecting unit), Mr. Han Sang IL - Business Director of YST Korea, Ms. Park Eunjung - Director of YST Vietnam Branch, and related departments were also present.

Welcoming the delegation from BIPA and YST, HueCIT was represented by Mr. Le Vinh Chien - Director, along with the heads of various specialized departments at HueCIT, including the Training and Development Department, Digital Transformation Department, Consulting, Design, and Production Department, and Planning and General Department.

Overview of the Meeting Between HueCIT and the Busan Information Technology Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA)

During the meeting, Mr. Byeon Seong-il introduced BIPA, explaining that the main mission of BIPA is to promote the information and communication technology (ICT) industry, develop the cultural industry, build infrastructure, and support marketing. With a focus on promoting investment for digital development in the ASEAN market, BIPA is involved in activities and projects aimed at expanding in Vietnam.

HueCIT, as the agency assigned by the Thua Thien Hue People's Committee to represent the province in promoting and connecting IT businesses investing in Hue, expressed its willingness to cooperate and support any IT-related events or activities in Hue.

HueCIT Ready to Connect and Support IT Investment and Development in Hue

In the spirit of mutual development, the meeting marked the beginning of mutual understanding between the two organizations. BIPA hopes that HueCIT will be able to assist in connecting and managing events in Hue to ensure their success. Furthermore, both parties hope that with their cooperation, the cities of Busan (the second largest city in South Korea) and Hue will have stronger technical connections in the future.
