Elevated as a provincial competition right from the first time held in 2022, Hue-ICT Challenge is considered as one of the practical activities to contribute to detecting and encouraging young people at high school and college levels, universities in the Central - Central Highlands region and throughout the country with a passion for information technology to have a useful playground to practice skills and creativity, helping them have the opportunity to rub their talents fairly; thereby spreading love and passion in the field of information technology, contributing to the implementation of the goal "Building a team of information technology to meet the development needs of the province's information technology industry in 2020 and orientation to 2025" according to Plan No. 20/KH-UBND dated February 3, 2022 of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province.
At the closing program of the Hue-ICT Challenge 2023 and the awarding of the IT creativity contest for students of colleges and universities, the Contest Organizing Committee will award 01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 05 third prizes and 07 consolation prizes to candidates with the best products 15 awards in total); At the same time, awarding the Certificate of Merit to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province for 01 school collective and 19 individual students with outstanding achievements in the Programming Contest for high school students.
Previously, on March 19, 2023, at the Programming Contest for high school students, the Organizing Committee awarded 148 individual awards, 20 collective awards with a total prize money of 113,900,000 VND, of which the JUNIOR CHALLENGE Board had 40 individual prizes, 04 collective prizes; The NAÏVE CHALLENGE Board had 68 individual prizes, 10 collective prizes; The PRO CHALLENGE Board had 40 individual prizes, 06 collective prizes.
Hue-ICT Challenge 2023 is organized by the Information and Electronics Technology Association of Thua Thien Hue province in collaboration with the University of Science and Training - Hue University, under the sponsorship of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, the companion of the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Education and Training and Thua Thien Hue IT Center.
