During the meeting, Mr. Kim Tae Ho, Director of VietPM, introduced the company and shared insights on the development of Green Transportation in Hue City. VietPM (Viet Personal Mobility Co., Ltd.) is a company specializing in maintenance, repair, and operation, established by Gbike (a Korean company) in Vietnam to support sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism. Their goal is to introduce smart transportation technology to support the "Clean & Green Smart Hue City" project.
Gbike, a leading Asian provider of personal mobility services, currently offers 110,000 electric bikes and scooters in four countries: South Korea, the U.S., Thailand, and Vietnam. For the "Clean & Green Smart Hue City" project, Gbike has been collaborating with the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to develop a green and smart city using personal transportation at the Gia Long Tomb and is continuing trials with 20 units in the Imperial City of Hue. The project plans to further pilot 280 GCOO (GBike) units throughout Hue City, promoting environmentally friendly transportation for residents and tourists visiting Hue's heritage sites.

Additionally, Mr. Lê Vĩnh Chiến, Director of the Hue Information Technology Center (HueCIT), shared more information about the center. He mentioned that HueCIT is a unit with substantial capabilities and experience in the field of information technology and communications. Over its 23 years of establishment and development, HueCIT has not only been involved in consulting and implementing IT projects for government agencies within the province but also serves as a consultant for digital transformation for various units and businesses. HueCIT is also a key facilitator for IT investment promotion for both domestic and international companies coming to Hue.

Mr. Kim Tae Ho highly praised HueCIT's IT products and applications, particularly in the cultural field, such as the Kham pha Hue Website, the Electronic Ticket System, and the Hue Monuments App. He also commended HueCIT's connectivity capabilities. Expressing a strong interest in collaborating, Mr. Kim Tae Ho emphasized the desire to work with HueCIT on infrastructure development, IT projects, recruitment support, and specifically, on promoting GCOO and Gbike through the Kham pha Hue Website managed by HueCIT.

Following the meeting, representatives from VietPM and HueCIT agreed to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation and effectively implement the proposed activities. The goal is to collaborate in the development and promotion of a green and smart city lifestyle, reaching not only tourists but also the residents of Thua Thien Hue province.
