An overview of the working session between the Thua Thien Hue Province Information Technology Center and the Smart Operations Center of Yen Bai Province
The Smart Operations Center of Yen Bai Province was established in 2022 according to Decision No. 258/QD-UBND dated February 28, 2022, by the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province. It performs the following functions and tasks: Supervising and operating information systems to serve the directive and executive tasks of the Provincial People's Committee; Managing technical infrastructure systems and applications, smart city services, and administering and operating the Yen Bai Provincial Electronic Portal.
Mr. Nguyen Doat, Director of the Smart Operations Center of Yen Bai Province, added: With a new organizational model unprecedented in the country, the collective leadership and staff of the Smart Operations Center of Yen Bai Province always strive, proactively seek, explore, and innovate to fulfill the assigned tasks. Although the technical staff consists of only 07 positions in the Operations and Monitoring Department of Smart Cities, they have gradually adopted and effectively managed and operated advanced and modern infrastructure components of smart cities, covering large volumes and areas, effectively carrying out the management and operation of smart urban infrastructure systems to serve the construction of electronic government and digital transformation, such as: Real-time monitoring information system operation at all key points in the province; Efficient operation of the Document Management and Operations Software System; Effective operation of the YenBai-S digital citizen application, aggregating central press, social media writings about Yen Bai, synthesizing report information, and conducting paperless meeting invitation systems, etc. In addition, the Yen Bai Provincial Electronic Portal under the Center is the main source of official information provided by the Provincial People's Committee of Yen Bai on the internet. Every year, the portal provides approximately 6,000 articles, photos, and news on the main portal, and 2,000 articles, photos on 24 specialized pages. It is the leading agency in creating graphics about events, commemorative activities, and tourism in the province to meet the promotion needs of Yen Bai Province.
During the working session, Mr. Le Vinh Chien, Director of the Information Technology Center of Thua Thien Hue Province (HueCIT), also shared the achievements and experiences in digital transformation.
Mr. Le Vinh Chien introduced the results achieved and shared experiences in research, support, and consultancy for the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province in implementing IT solutions and applications in state agencies to advance towards an effective electronic government. This includes the framework of electronic governance and multi-level electronic office systems of Thua Thien Hue Province; the provincial public service portal; Document management and operations system; Thua Thien Hue Province's Open Data Portal; Mobile electronic government platform... For many years, HueCIT has been honored by the Vietnam Digital Communication Association as an outstanding digital transformation enterprise and a state agency with exemplary digital technology products.
The Thua Thien Hue Province Information Technology Center and the Smart Operations Center of Yen Bai Province signed an agreement during the working session.
Acknowledging the achievements of both units and desiring to learn from each other's practical experiences, the two centers have agreed to collaborate. Each unit commits to providing technical support, advice, and development of information technology applications, as well as training and sharing experiences in the construction, installation, and operation of IT applications related to the tasks and missions of both units.
Through the signed agreement, in the coming time, the two units will cooperate and work directly to ensure the agreed-upon contents, thereby contributing practically to the digital transformation efforts of each locality, and the national digital transformation program as a whole.
